There’s no doubt that people love books. It’s what helps them to relax. Books from creative | talented writers can be loved by readers who subscribe to platforms that send them books every month. Some of these platforms have been around for decades. And they’ve been working with writers to distribute their books. Look at it this way: authors are working with subscription companies to give out samples. That’s not necessarily the case, but some authors who want to reach more audiences who don’t know who they are can work out a deal with the company.
Alright, there’s no doubt that people will be enticed to subscribe because it’s cheaper than buying the book outright. Some subscription companies can charge anywhere from $9.99 - $20, or even more. But if you calculate how much you would’ve spent buying from the authors’ website or other distribution channels, you would see that you’re saving a lot. These subscription companies know that to keep their members, they’ve got to add bestsellers. Even though it might be expensive for them, they do it anyway because they are in it for the long run.
