Books are what make you think of other things no matter what you are passing through. In fact, you can travel in thought while reading a book. Of course, a book should be interesting so that the reader can enjoy it. Yeah, there are long books that can take weeks or even months to finish, while there are ones you just can't put down. Some authors are gifted, and there are many books out there that can deliver. So, if you are looking for excellent books to read, below are ten books we believe you’ll love to read:

1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, by J.K. Rowling

I like to call her just Rowling because she’s on a roll. Having published a lot of best-selling books, one would say that this author is talented. J.k. Rowling’s book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, is a book to reckon with. Written to accommodate readers age eight and above, it means you can get your hands on one today. This book was first published on 28 January 1813 and has since sold over 20 million copies. There’s even an adaptation of the novel you can watch. She’s written a lot of books, and they’ve been republished many times. She gained more readers when she republished her novels in Richard Bentley’s standard novel series. There’s no doubt that you’ll enjoy this novel.

3. The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak

Markus Zusak is an Australian writer. He published his remarkable novel in 2005, and it has since sold over 16 million copies. He’s won awards for his writings. 4. Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury

Another excellent book for your delight here. Many would call Ray Bradbury a talented author, but I’ll say he’s an author that knows how to write. Although he’s dead, RIP (2012), his books aren’t. 5. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, by Douglas Adams

It was initially published in 1979 and has since become a success. Douglas Adams’s books have sold millions of copies. Even though he struggled as a writer, he didn’t give up, and now you can grab a copy of his work. This book is now a Hulu series, and you can watch it today (season 1).

6. The Color Purple, by Alice Walker

Alice Walker is an award-winning author. She’s written lots of books. The Color Purple is one of her notable works. Initially published in 1982, it has since become a bestseller. Alice walker’s books have sold over 15 million copies, and they are still selling today. The color purple was adapted into a film in 1985.

7. Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley

Mary Shelly wrote this novel when she was eighteen years old. Immediately after Frankenstein’s publications, it became a bestseller. It was nominated as one of America’s best-loved novels by The Great American Read. Frankenstein is regarded by many as a masterpiece of suspense and the prototype of a science fiction novel.

8. The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien

John Tolkien was born in 1892. Yes, he’s dead now, but his books are still alive. Originally published in 1937, The Hobbit has soon become one of a kind. Not only is there a movie adapted from this novel with over a billion in box office sales, but it’s also won awards.

9. The Diary of a Young Girl, by Anne Frank

A novelist born in Minnesota, Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald wrote four novels and 164 short stories which you can read.
